Welcome to the next series! If you have finished reading the Foundations posts, you may wonder how you find where you belong. Simple answer? You belong anywhere you want to belong.

The Foundations series is a collection of components that are common to any and every walk of life. They don’t just have to be for spiritual purposes either. The concepts I presented can even be utilized by the most stalwart of Atheistic ideologies. Just strip down the symbolism and metaphysical terminology. What you end up with is the root of ALL paths to just try and have a more balanced lifestyle and mindset. That’s why I wanted to keep the Foundations separated from Pathworking because ultimately each path will lead you to the same results. The same goal from different roads.

My way of presenting Pathworking is to avoid throwing exercise after exercise at you. Cause that’s what people mostly do today. They try different things and wait for something to work. Then instead of taking some time to understand why that worked after so many failures, they move on to try the next thing. This causes us to spread ourselves thin and not take the time to appreciate the small victories. We each have our unique connections to the energy fields surrounding us. What one person does is not the only way to achieve those results. Some get stuck in that mindset though.

This leads to the, “my way or the highway,” mentality. Some tap into their unique life path but then teach exactly what they do. Others will learn and say, “Yeah it works but man is it intense and stressful.” Here’s a secret, it will always be stressful when you are trying to imitate another person’s practices. The way I work is not going to be the same as the way you work. I am not going to do things the same as you, my mentor(s), or even myself. Sometimes I need to change up my modus operandi depending on the specific situation I find myself in. It's called adaptability.

That understanding of adaptability has come from over two decades of working in energy fields and seeking a better understanding of those fields. Adaptability is what has led to this mass proliferation of differing traditions, religions, and labels. I have decided to present to you Pathworking as an exploration of Science and History to better equip you with knowledge and freedom. We all want to live in the Here and Now. This is fine, I also said in Foundations that we need to have a Presence in the Present. But I also made it clear that we need to learn from the past too while not getting bound to the past. That is the pitfall of today’s movement toward this “spiritual revolution.” We take only the surface layer of things and end up ignoring logic and reasoning.

Ignoring logic and reasoning to go just for the woo-woo stuff is a detriment to yourself and the world at large. Pathworking is a deeply personal process that relies on you operating with clear knowledge and freedom from other people’s suppositions. People in today’s society are scared to try certain things because they feel it may ruffle other people’s feathers. Screw them and screw that mentality. If you want to be the best you that you can be then you need to operate on your unique wavelength. You can do whatever you want. There is a modicum of respect towards specifics in the different practices, but I will go into a full post about that.

My goal in my Pathworking series is to give you new perspectives through scientific and historical reasoning. We will be going through topics that involve:

  • Biology

  • Physics

  • Astronomy

  • Paleontology

  • Anthropology

  • Ethnography

  • Etymology

  • Sociology

And that is the short list of it. Some of this will tie into String Theory backing what I had in Foundations about Spirit to Soul. Mythology will tie into these topics as well as Evolution concepts.

You can always jump into a practice and have things “work” for you. But true Pathworking is about developing your rhythm and flow. The name of the practice is just an extra layer of spice. Pathworking is about arming yourself with the knowledge that grants you free will. I find myself experiencing sadness when I think of the state of our society and the educational systems that are in place. We are most often taught WHAT to think rather than HOW to think.

That mentality and methodology bled over into even learning spiritual practices. We are told this corresponds with this because “It always has,” and rarely do people question it. And when someone does question it they get ridiculed and outcasted. Until someone else comes along later to say the same thing and find people embracing them instead. For example, the Earth is not flat. Nor does the Sun and Moon revolve around the Earth. Those were at one time blasphemy. Maggots spontaneously generated was a long-held belief until they were found to be the larvae for flies.

Spirituality is less about who is right and who is wrong. Anybody can make up a personal cosmology at any time. We have done so since before recorded time and we will continue to do it until we cease to exist. The purpose of getting into a spiritual lifestyle is to be your best self and grow who you are. You can’t do that chained to the edicts of others. Learn from others sure, just understand they can only teach their way because that is how they know to do what they do. It is up to you to get the core principle or philosophy of what they are teaching and figure out how you operate to achieve the same results.

The Foundations series was like Moana singing Know Who You Are throughout the movie. It wasn’t until the end she boldly declared, “I AM MOANA!!” The Foundations Series was the information you needed to know how to answer the question of who you are. Once you know who you are then you can get started working your way in whatever path pleases you. Each path leads to the same end goal. There are just different structures and energetic facilitators to each and you will find that you tend to lean more towards one model or the other.

I will discuss a bunch of the different paths throughout this series. The majority of them present themselves naturally because of the history we will be going over. But before we get to that we need to go over Etymology first because that will be a recurring theme throughout the series. After explaining Etymology and its importance we will go into science so we can better understand Energy. Get ready for a knowledge overload and if you feel you need to take some time to read the following posts more than once please do. Also, do not hesitate to email me with questions or even contradictions. I am happy to discuss this because I admit that I am still a student, as are you, and every other person you meet. We are students until the day we die and I find the most happiness when I learn something new.

Thank you for reading and joining me in my second series. It will be a lot but in the end, it will be worth it if for nothing more than opening you to question everything you once thought you knew.
